Cyber security for Augmented and Virtual Reality can mean many things, from identifying potential attacks and proposing new cyber risk and privacy awareness mechanisms to cyber risk management and secure authentication. In SUN, we go beyond these. We acknowledge that no preventive mechanism can be perfect and we are developing the first system that will be able to automatically detect different attacks and warn the users in near real-time. In parallel, our AR threat detection work is also progressing, currently experimenting with cyber attacks on HoloLens, observing their impact on user experience and systems and gathering the data we need to develop the corresponding automated detection system.
