On September 4, 2024, SUN XR technologies have been shared with medical doctor specialized in physical medicine and rehabilitation, physiotherapist and occupational therapist participated from our partner ASL-NO. Among them some were officially involved in the SUN project, other were naïve and they do not know the objective of the project.
After a short presentation of the project, the storyboards of patients to be enrolled have been presented both for the upper and lower limb.
All participants agreed about the innovation and the feasibility of the proposed protocol outlining the advantages provide by the SUN XR solution.
In particular, it has been highlighted that the solution can:
- reduce the treatment duration,
- increase the patient’s engagement
- allow a better monitoring of the patient’s progress not only in terms of both quantitative and qualitative information to measure the outcome
- increase the number patient to be treated due to the saving of personnel resources
The only focus of attention was related to the age of the subject involved for the knee joint replacement. After a deep discussion, the participants concluded that the age of patients who received a joint replacement can be enrolled in the protocol.
